This St. Augustine home is right in the heart of quaint & historic downtown! The lovely two level cottage has an upstairs full bath and two private bedrooms each with a queen bed. Downstairs is a second full bath, as well as a living room and full kitchen. A short 8-10 minute walk allows visitors to explore the many downtown historic sites, museums & restaurants. One free parking spot is available on our lot. Free street parking for additional cars. We offer free WiFi, cable TV, washer/dryer.

This 100+ year old historic home, built in 1917 is always welcoming, tranquil, clean and safe. Guests reserving the listing will have an upper level full bath and two private bedrooms each with queen mattresses, pillows , linens, and bedding. The cottage also has a downstairs full service kitchen, living room/dining area and a second full bath for guests to use and enjoy. We offer free WiFi, cable TV, washer/dryer, keyless lock pad entry, off street parking for one car and free street parking for extra vehicles.

*Our home is child friendly but not baby/child proof, so please keep an eye on the little ones, especially near the stairs. *Please be mindful that we are in a residential neighborhood and that no parties or gatherings can take place in the home. *As a courtesy to our neighbors, please keep loud noises to a minimum between 10pm - 8am. **By renting this property, you agree to release call claims against -- and indemnify, defend and hold harmless -- Owners, Owner's Agents, Hosts, and Staff from any and all claims, litigation, judgements, causes of action, damages, costs and attorney fees resulting from loss, damage or injury to Occupant, Occupant's guests, invitees, or licensees, and/or those individuals' personal property.

This cottage has two levels. A parking pass to the visitor's center parking garage downtown will be available for guests to use provided that there are spaces available in the garage. We provide a visitor guidebook with all the house info as well as lots of local information. Basic essentials for short stays are provided so that guests may enjoy an independent visit! Check out time is 10am.

Our property is located in the Model Land Company historic district. It is listed on the U.S. National Registry of Historic Places, which contains 238 historic buildings. In 1885 Henry Flagler spurred development of this area, envisioning the tract as the “ Winter Newport” with his Hotel Ponce de Leon (now Flagler College) surrounded by grand "cottages" of wealthy seasonal residents. After purchasing the 40 acre tract, he named the streets such as Saragossa, Valencia, Carrera and Sevilla to recognize the city’s Spanish heritage. Carriages transported passengers to Flagler’s hotel from the Union Train Station at the San Sebastián River. Winter residents enjoyed the Railroad Park gardens and the Ponce de Leon baseball field where the Cuban Giants of the segregated Negro League played. The first homes were built for hotel and railroad executives and as winter rentals for Flagler’s guests. In 1896 , he Incorporated the Model Land Company to manage his extensive land holdings in Florida. Many houses in our quiet safe neighborhood are old classic homes such as ours. This well located house is just 7 minutes walking distance to the center of historic downtown, a short 10 minute car ride to the Amphitheatre or 15 minutes to our beautiful beaches.
